Open Access Policy

JGPI is a fully open-access journal. All published content is made freely available online immediately upon publication — no subscriptions, institutional access fees, or reader charges of any kind are applied, now or in the future.

JGPI adopts the Gold Open Access model with immediate, permanent, and unrestricted online access for all readers. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, under which authors retain full copyright and grant JGPI a non-exclusive publication license. Readers are free to read, download, share, adapt, and reuse published content for any purpose — including commercial use — provided appropriate credit is given, a link to the license is provided, and any changes are indicated.

Authors may post preprints to any server (SocArXiv, OSF Preprints, SSRN, etc.) at any stage of the process — before, during, or after submission to JGPI. Authors may self-archive the accepted manuscript and the published version immediately upon publication with no embargo period, in any institutional or subject repository. JGPI fully endorses and complies with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).
