Editorial Policies & Publication Ethics
JGPI operates in full compliance with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines. All parties involved in the publishing process — authors, reviewers, editors, and the publisher — are expected to uphold these standards without exception.
The Editor-in-Chief and the editorial team exercise complete independence in all editorial decisions. Decisions are based solely on scientific merit, originality, methodological soundness, ethical compliance, and scope relevance. Bukhari Press has no influence on individual editorial decisions.
All research involving human participants must have received ethical approval from an appropriate institutional review board (IRB) or ethics committee. The manuscript must include the ethics committee name, approval reference number, and a statement confirming that informed consent was obtained from all participants. For research involving sensitive political subjects, vulnerable populations, or data gathered in conflict-affected contexts, authors should provide additional detail on the ethical precautions taken.
All randomized or experimental studies must be registered in a publicly accessible registry prior to data collection. The registration number and registry name must be stated in the Methods section. Authors are expected to maintain complete and accurate records of their data, methods, and analysis. JGPI encourages submission of datasets, analysis code, or study materials as supplementary files or via public repositories (OSF, figshare, Zenodo, Harvard Dataverse). A Data Availability Statement is mandatory in all manuscripts.
